As an environmental scientist, Dr. Jennifer Bender passionately seeks to bridge gaps between scientists, policy makers, and the public for environmental and sustainability issues. She serves as a member of the Environmental Innovation Clinic Lead Faculty, and Research Fellow, School for the Environment at University of Massachusetts. Dr. Bender also consults with NOAA, the UN Ocean Decade program, the National Science Foundation and the Nature Conservancy. She writes for food magazines on complex food choices and co-chairs the sustainability committee for the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston which draws 300,000 attendees annually. Dr. Bender is also a Board Member for the Pleiades Network, a community of women that support changemakers seeking to create a sustainable planet.

Travis has been lauded as a hospitality polymath, an industry innovator and a positively disruptive thought leader in F&B. He has participated in over 500 resort, hotel, live entertainment and restaurant projects throughout his career. Travis leads the strategy and operations side of our team and contributes with his expertise in master planning, concept ideation, brand articulation, menu engineering, crafting the experience, guest mapping and performance coaching. In addition to his expansive portfolio, he is a ‘go to’ subject matter expert that has been featured in documentaries, been a contributing writer to Thrillist, co-authored cookbooks, consulted on Food Network programming, and has been a regular on national TV shows like Restaurant Impossible.

Dawn Curtis Hanley is a brand strategist, an experience creator and a strategic communications expert for the luxury lifestyle, tourism/hospitality, real estate development, and sustainability/conservation sectors. With more than a dozen years working in the restaurant and hotel industry as a communications leader, Dawn continues to consult in the industry, developing powerful brand identities and activations for hotels across the country. In 2009-2010, Dawn managed a historic expedition, Around the Americas, a circumnavigation of the Americas by sail to bring awareness and attention to the threats to the oceans. She continues to maintain and collaborate with a strong network of environmental conservation experts.
